Technical Specifications of our Synthetic Cartridges
The Filtering Cartridges of extruded polypropylene, are disposable Filtration Cartridges with high durability. The Filtering Cartridges are designed and built to ensure both the efficiency, in terms of functionality and cost, and both high compatibility with each range of fluids and chemicals.
These Filtering Cartridges entirely made of polypropylene are easily eliminated by incineration without release of dangerous substances.
The resin Bonded Cartridge (phenolic resin acrylic) have been developed for the filtration of fluids that are not compatible with polypropylene Filtrating Cartridges.
These resin filtering cartridges have a two-stages structure to maximize the separation efficiency and the duration of the filtration of aggressive or highly viscous or elevated temperature liquids.
The one-piece resin filering cartridges construction, with the pre-filtering film externally wrapped in a spiral, ensures a high mechanical strenghth of the cartridge to its use with fluids having a viscosity up to 3200 cSt allowing it to resist a differential pressure up to 10 bar.
The pleated cartridge is one of the more efficient filter elements among those available on the market. It’s a pleated cartridge with special multi-layer structure with high reliability, this structure allows an excellent cut-off size for the targeted removal of solid particles.

Large filter surface (0.6 m2 per 10 “), up to 50% more than comparable cartridges from other sectors, it offers higher flow and higher dirt holding capacity.
This filtrating cartridge adopts a technically advanced filter media that can consistently and effectively remove the desired particle size, but allow the crossing of the particles smaller, non-damaging, and thus maximizing the life of the filter.
Advances in technology enabled the realization of a better and more robust external support which ensures greater protection of the pleat pack.
All the filtrating cartridges of the series are thermally-bonded, rather than glued, thus avoiding the leaching of adhesives into the filtrate stream.
To ensure the protection and security during the transportation, storage and handling, each cartridge is individually packed.
The wound cartridges represent the core technology that always provides excellent results as a pre-filter to protect the more expensive filtration systems secondary or final.
This range is made of multiple materials to perform always the best in the various sectors of application with the possibility to choose also the material of the support structure. The Wound range covers a wide range of filtration grades (of 0.5 to 150 pm) and offers an efficient particulate filtration at low cost, efficiency tested and historically proven.
